1987 Camaro 5.7 Smog Equipment
I bought a 1987 Camaro 5.7 with a disassembled engine. I have rebuilt the engine and am close to getting the car running again. I live in California and have to get it smog tested when I'm done. Not having seen it assembled, I'm having problems finding information on how the last few smog pieces connect up. I've made a few assumptions and would like to get some verification on them. On the driver's side there is a PCV in the valve cover. Does that in fact connect to the driver's side of the intake manifold? On the passenger side valve cover, there is what I believe is a fresh air port. Where does that connect to? What all connects to the throttle body? There are a few vacuum lines coming off the coil. Where do those connect to? A picture speaks a thousand words, so if anyone is willing to share a few photos or diagrams, I would greatly appreciate it.
