coolant temp sensors

ok ive been wondering about this for awhile. on my trans am it originally had a 305. it has 3 temp sensors. one on the drivers side head one on the passenger side head and one on the gooseneck on top of the intake manifold. i know the passenger side one goes to the fan. what and where do the other two go?

Re: coolant temp sensors

drivers side block switch goes to the gauge/light on the cluster and the one on the manifold goes to the ECM
