alright. i am so freaking close to having my baby running!!

today i picked up a new thermostat (other one was stuck), i got some old school 'winged' valve cover studs, as well as some chrome hold downs. so thats all cinched up now

got the other gasket for the carb i needed, as well as a new thermo gasket.

got my blue billet spark plug wire rails all fixed up

i disconnected the louvers on the hood. i really need to get a regular hood. i have these gaping holes where the louvers used to be. anyone wanna trade? hahaha

ummm, so all i need now is a vac advance distro (found a brand new one on ebay for $35 ....billet with whatever color cap and a 65,000 volt coil), and some vac lines.

put the rest of it together, and boom shakalaka!!

ill try and get some pics up. but, im leaving in about 6 hours for about 5 weeks. so it may be awhile. lol

 

No kidding!! Cool! Now if you can just be home long enough to work on it! Any word on you guys getting to AZ?
