I have a project going on first off I have a 91 Rs that the under side is badly rusted out but runs very well is a 305 tbi 700r4 I just bought a 89 Rs from a Guy it is a 305 tbi 5 speed he claims the wiring is bad i think its vats system but any way i was going to pull the dash from the 91 and use all the inside wiring and computer and the colum from it and put in the 89 is the wiring under the hood the same as far as the computer wires go or will i need to change all of it ?

 

You have a choice of spending untold hours comparing wiring diagrams, or doing all the extra work of just swapping everything over. Besides, the '91 dash looks more modern, but is harder to fit aftermarket gauges into.

 

do yall think the headlight part of the wiring under the hood is the same
