how much horsepower and torque
I have a 1983 z28 camaro with the 305 ho motor. All the emissions have been taken off it. It dont have a cat and the egr has been blocked. It also has a flowmaster muffler and a holley 600 carb. The carb needs rebuilt and tuned, so I am just going to buy a new summit racing 600 carb. I want to put a pair of mildly ported L98 heads and a intake off a zz4 crate motor. Since I will already have it broke down that far I was going to put a flat tappet voodoo cam with 213 and 219 degrees of duration @ 0.050 and .454 and .468 lift. I'll put 1.6 full roller rocker arms in it. For the exhaust I'm just putting long tube headers with 2 race mufflers bolted straight to the headers. I also plan on a electric fan, under drive pulleys, and a 160 degree theromstat. How much horse power and torque will I have? How much faster do you think it will be?

Re: how much horsepower and torque
It'll make about zero horsepower once the smog police get ahold of you, and it. That'll be a very loud setup and you'll be constantly pulled over. The factory emissions devices are required on a street vehicle in all 50 states, by federal law.
Now, to answer your question? A 305 with 64cc heads (lower compression) and a bigger cam, with long tube headers? Since it started at 190 HP I'd say you're up to about 225 HP.
