help.. smog items.
so for better reference here are some pictures of my blown up smog pump. I realized there is a butterfly thing on the exhaust manifold that was not hooked up (guessing that causes the butterfly to close) which created too much pressure and blew up my air mng valve. I have a new air management valve and that weird lil vavle that connects to the other part, but the threads got blown off the piece it connects too. will some sturdy hose( and clamps) work instead of the threads?

New air mng vavle ^^ next to old one still installed

^^^ the outlet from the exhaust manifold that is missing the threads

^^^ same outlet shown again (should i hack off the bolt area to get a better seal on the hose?)

^^^ the new vavle that needs to be connected to the outlet from the exhuast (the old one has the threads in it it LOL)

^^^^ thats now they need to go together (hence the idea to put some hose around each and clamp it)
I know hose is not the best idea.
but i tried getting the piece that comes off the exhaust manifold from the junkyard and it WILL NOT come off, i stripped the bolts with the CORRECT sized wrench. they were weak, and on so tight from heat and cold and rust..
will this idea work?
i mean in terms that the hose can handle it?
as long as it is hooked up, smog people don't care, i took it down there today and they said as long as it is operational, it won't matter.
any other ideas for a cheap way to connect each?
(beside welding it.. i don't have a welder, and i will try again tomorrow to get the piece off if this idea or others will not work)

Re: help.. smog items.
now i got everything put back together, but my car is making more noise than before...
it ran before with the air manangement valve hooked up,
and the burnt hose that runs from the exhuast manifold to the lil vacuum line that connects to the coolent outlet on top of the intake.
i put a new vac hose on the line from the coolant outlet to the actuator down on the exhuast manifold and now it rattles, from somewhere near that spot...
it goes with the RPM of the engine, so im assuming that something got messed up with that actuator and whatever it controls?
any suggestions on what to check?
