I have a 91 camaro it its 305 tbi. The car died out of no where today when i was on the highway. I have ran the car out of gas several times because my gas gauge doesnt work. Anyway when i turn the engine over no gas comes out of the tbi. I was wondering if there is a simple way to test the fuel pump before i replace it. My manual shows a fuel pump test connecter but idk how to test it any info will help thanks.

p.s there is gas in the tank.

 

Apply 12 volts to that FP test connector.

 

Check fuel pressure, check to see if you hear the pump by turning the key on with engine off, and test the flow from the pump after you make sure it is working.
