Hey guys this may come out to be a dumb question but when im driving my car around a steady 40mph it starts shaking.Its consistent around 40 mph and the only way that it stops is if i accelerate through it so that it feels as if the overdrive is kicking in or i slow down and run it slower.I have had people tell me its a tire problem but i don't know.Any help would be great.thanks

 

a tire cold be separating are the tires really old?

 

My Firebird did this. I replaced the drag-link assembly on the front-end. Problem solved...

 

have your tires checked for balance

 

might be the drag link, get under and shake it, if its loose around the joints it might just be that. i need to replace mine.
