RP filter equivalent of M1 M302 ?!?!?!

I've been using the Mobil 1 M302 oil filter since the PF1218 changed a couple years back. I've always used Royal Purple oil too. Now I'm changing to Amsoil oil and I also want to change the a Royal Purple oil filter.

I can't find a Royal Purple oil filter cross-reference online anywhere and PepBoys only can reference by application! Hell I don't even know what application the Mobil 1 M302 was designed for!

Does anyone know what Royal Purple filter is equivalent to the Mobil 1 M302 ?!?!?!?!

I sure hope someone knows because I am changing my oil tonight lol!

Thanks!

Re: RP filter equivalent of M1 M302 ?!?!?!

Ok, I confirmed that the Mobil 1 M302 is for the Chevy 7.4L 454.

I still can't find a RP oil filter reference though to figure out what the RP filter P/N is for the Chevy 454, argh! Lol

EDIT! I gave in and called PepBoys to ask if they have in stock a Royal Purple oil filter for a 1992 Chevy 454, they do! The P/N is 30-1218! Ha, 1218 just like the AC Delco 1218s!
