TBI First start issue
Just built the engine. Wouldn't get more than 3 revs out of it... had the fuel lines swapped(feeding regulator backwards)
Broke in the cam for 15 minutes.
Found out rear main was leaking from not thinking when installing...replaced.
Dropped pipe plug into coolant passage on intake...pulled intake to retrieve.
Now I'm trying to get her started again.
Here's where I'm at now. I have the advance wire disconnected and am trying to find a general area for timing where I can get it to run long enough to do some logging for fuel as well as get timing set to 0*. I'm not sure if I am running to rich or if it is a timing issue. Plugs are black and wet. Most likely from a few failed starting attempts. I unplugged injectors after trying, I will get a startup and will turn over much better than with fuel. Which leads me to the fact that it could be flooding itself out. Opening the throttle a bit with the adjustment screw also aids in starting. I'm going to try starting up with a 305 .bin instead of a 350 because it is obviously to rich for what I need.
I've checked TPS voltage at closed throttle.
Checked plug wires countless times.
Pulled valve cover to make 100% sure I wasn't 180 off for distributor.
I'm pretty much looking for anything I might have missed before I go pulling fuel from the tables.

Re: TBI First start issue
Well, I replaced cap, rotor, and coil wire. Put the battery on the charger. Swapped in some 40lb instead of the 55lb. Reconnected the EST connector, put the battery back on and actually got it to run enough to get the timing set by feel/ear(runs the smoothest) until I get a light on it. Tomorrow I'll see if I can get her to run without the EST wire connected. I did have to retard the timing quite a bit though, so that was part of the problem.
