Re: plz plz helppp fuel pump questions

The 83 just has the fuel pump on the block. What kind of engine is the 87? Block-mounted fuel pumps only work with carburetors, not FI.

Re: plz plz helppp fuel pump questions

If you use the Camaro fuel pump it will have the place for the second line . The second line that should be smaller is for your return line .

Re: plz plz helppp fuel pump questions

Yes, the larger 3/8" line is the feed line from the tank to the pump, the smaller 5/16" line is the return line back to the tank. Only factory mechanical pumps used a return line. If you go with an aftermarket/high volume fuel pump it won't have a fitting for the return line. In that case you can just plug the return line and leave it unused.
