Would the IAT affect the TC lock up?
I have either a bad IAT connector, or a bad wire. When I used WinALDL on my car the IAT said the air intake temp was -37 F
(I also get code 23). I know that's probably why my car is running rich, but would it also keep my TC from locking?

Well hopefully this will solve the mystery of why my TC won't lock up. I replaced the IAT sensor a while back and it didn't fix it, so now I'll try ordering a new connector pigtail.

Well I put a new IAT/MAT connector on today and the code 23 problem is now fixed, can't tell any difference in the way it runs though. I'm still getting a rich flag even though I'm no longer getting trouble codes.
Also, it didn't fix the TC lock up problem either. Oh well, at least the check engine light doesn't come on anymore.
