Question
Question
I have an 89 camaro with the 2.8L V6. Some times when I give it gas, it will stutter is the best way I can describe it. It will continue to idle rough even after I take my foot off the gas. It sounds almost like its miss-firing. At first I thought it was the fuel filter, so I changed it, but it didn't make any difference. I'm not getting any trouble codes. Besides checking the plugs and wires, I don't really know what else I should check. Any help and advice is greatly welcome. Thanks.

Re: Question
If it where my car <<>> I would replace Rotor, Dist. cap, plugs, wires And run some higher octane gas(93) for bout 2weeks to really clean out that fuel system....
Re: Question
Thanks the advice. We changed the plugs to start with. After looking at the old plugs, we figured that one plug was most likely fouling up causing the problem. According to the haynes manual it got too hot.
