Guess that annoying noise!
At idle.
Sounds like a whine from the passenger front.
Not constant. Occasional
Can be heard inside and out.

Anyone. Almost sounds like a pump. Not really sure. Makes a humming/whining noise. Seems like only when the car is warm. It's driving me nuts at red lights

Alternator? Tensioner pully? Hamster? Get a bit of hose, hold one end up to your ear and move the other end around to listen for the noise.

I figured it out today. These motors are very sensitive. Wow, a quarter (1/4) of a quart of oil fixed the minor issue. I guess it was the oil pump whining/humming. I will read the exact specs on oil amounts and have it changed in the morning. Just thought I'd post for the next guy who Googles "Third gen camaro strange noise"
