wanting to put 4th gen wheels/ Q about spacers

i have a set of ZR1 rims im putting on and am curious what size spacer is proper for the front wheels. i dont want the wheels sticking out too far, but also dont want them rubbing the sway bar when i turn. i've had ZR1 on the rear of the car at the track before, with 3" spacers and they worked fine. anyone that has experience with this please chime in.

I have 96 ss rims on my 91 rs. It takes 2" wheel spacers to run them. The wheels are 17 x 10.5.

Re: wanting to put 4th gen wheels/ Q about spacers

found a site that recommended 2" spacers specifically. but also gave how to measure and calculate offset/backspacing, and using a formula, determine required spacer. pretty neat site IMO.
and yes, i was just being lazy and asking when after searching 5 min i found this site. funny how i always get mad at those ppl... well, for anyone else with a common question, here ya go.

With a 4th gen rear, you won't need rear spacers though, at all.

Only with 4th gen wheels, would you be needing spacers on the front.
