*NEED HELP ASAP!*

ok everyone i finally got around to buying a new oil pan and pump etc. I trying to get this done this weekend before work week starts back up. I have the front of my car up on stands and drained the oil...took the dizzy cap off...took off the cover infront of the tranny (i forget what its called)....and took the starter off. I cut some scrap 2x4 so i could use it when i get the motor in the air to put in the clam shell. WELL guess what. I dont have a cherry picker so i decided i would just jack up the motor using the front pulley like people have said to do. None of my jacks will go high enough at full extension to even touch that pulley....im stuck now....i cant take the car off the stands cause then i cant get underneth the car to reach the pan...i cant reach the motor to jack it up....ugh!...any suggestions?
