Fuel Injector "upgrade"

How bad of an idea is it to use a slighty higher lb/hr when purchasing new injectors? Will it run rich even if it's just a slightly higher than OE?

Just slightly. It will run proportionately richer during open loop operation. During closed loop the ECM will do its best to compensate for the overly rich condition.
