Axle/Gears: Stock

1986 Camaro 305 Oil Light Blinks On The Highway

My camaro's oil light blinks on and off on the highway when I start to enter the 60mph+ zone or so, do I need to replace the oil pump? Doesn't need oil, I know that much..thanks

Anyway just trying to get it ready for a long road trip this winter =D

Install a mechanical oil pressure gauge, either temporarily or permanently. Verify your actual oil pressure.

You may have a bad oil pump, or you may have a bad oil pressure switch.
