Did i hook this up right?
Ok so i bought a distributor from summit.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-850001-2/
It is hooked up using a relay and switch.
I get 12V out of the switch and on the hot lead of the relay.
I found tdc and dropped in the dizzy.
Now the problem starts. It wont fire at all. It wont sputter or anything. Will a timing light work when the engine isnt running? Im at a loss....

Re: Did i hook this up right?
back when i got my hei dizzy i had to go to a junk yard and pick up some connectors off an older model car and wire them into the factory wiring of my car. you should have the cables coming from the dist itself hooked up to the coil and you should also have a red and yellow wire plugged in from the factory wire harness as well. also make sure you have the ground plate under the coil connected too. and one more thing make sure that the dist and rotor are making contact there should be a little brass plunger dohicky in the middle of the dist cover that contacts the rotor. check all that and see if it works then
