does anyone know what causes a hipo engine to have a lopey idle?

is it cam only eg: big lift/duration?

or big cam plus high compression pistons/head combo?

its the duration and overlap of the cam.

thumper cams achieve this but using a diff cam design but they dont offer any power advantages
