no spark or fuel on my lt1?
I've asked this before and tried some stuff but still haven't figured out my problem. i have an 86 z28 with an lt1 from a caprice in it. i have the whole harness from a caprice attached to the motor with a vats bypass module hooked up. the motor ran fine when i pulled and it seems to as though i have everything hooked up the way it came off, the main difference is theres no cluster and the interior fuse block has no fuses in it, and if theres a random ground somehwere i could potentialy have missed it. everthing in the underhood fuse block is getting power and the pump primes and the coil is getting power to it so im assuming something (i.e. the computer) may be telling the motor to not get spark and fuel. needless to say i dont know what wrong so if theres any ideas that would be great.

The engine spins but does not fire? Does it even try to fire?
It sounds like your VATS bypass module is not working.

yes the starter rotates the motor just fine but it doesn't fire, i pulled a plug and it doesnt appear as though the injector is firing any fuel and i tested for spark and i am not getting any spark either. the vats bypass is putting the proper volts to the fuel turn on signal also, so i would assume it is working properly plus it is new. and yes in conclusion it does not even try to fire, just turns over and over.
