I tried searching the forums but I don't how to word the search for the problem I am having. I don't know much about cars, just the basics. The problem I am having is my car is accelerating really slowly. I don't know if I should just give it a basic tune up or what. For example I had a little ***** behind me while getting on the freeway(really annoying) and so I floored it, but it didn't get up and go like it used to. It moves in the lower rpms but once it get a little higher around 30 it slows up. It was doing this even when the gas wasn't floored so I floored it and it did not change. It's an 88 camaro sport coupe with a 305. I have no idea what could be wrong, my only idea is to give it a basic tune up which it probably could use anyways. Any ideas would be appreciated, I really really really hate having cars with an exaust bigger then my head ride my butt.
