Axle/Gears: 2.73

mystery hose

So i noticed my idle has been high lately and ive been looking for something to be causing this. i noticed the black little inlet between the runners is missing a hose. whats suppose to go there and can this be the solution to my problem? i can feel it sucking in air. also
