How do i keep from spilling oil when i set my valve lash while the engine is running?
Dose someone make open valve covers or something?

Re: spilling oil
there are small clips that you can slip over pushrod sockets on rocker arms . they keep the oil from squirting all over the place . i got my set at NAPA , but they should be available at any parts store . just ask at your store . good luck.

this might be a stupid question, but are you using a hydraulic lifter set up?

Re: spilling oil
Knowing those existed would have been great a couple years ago. I just stapled an old t shirt to a piece of 1x1 lumber, put the lumber on the headers and draped the t shirt over the fender. Work fast so the wood won't burn. :P
