spilling oil

How do i keep from spilling oil when i set my valve lash while the engine is running?
Dose someone make open valve covers or something?

there are small clips that you can slip over pushrod sockets on rocker arms . they keep the oil from squirting all over the place . i got my set at NAPA , but they should be available at any parts store . just ask at your store . good luck.

Knowing those existed would have been great a couple years ago. I just stapled an old t shirt to a piece of 1x1 lumber, put the lumber on the headers and draped the t shirt over the fender. Work fast so the wood won't burn. :P

yes a retro fit set with roller rockers its a noisy valve train so im trying to find the sourse of the noise by setting my valve lash 3/4 turn past 0 knock (when running) again
