Heat Core - Hose routing....

Okay swapped my heater core out. Ran new lines. Did one to my intake, one to my water pump. To my understanding, intake should be pressured, so that's my in, and the water pump inlet is on top so it should be an in, so that is my return line. Should provide constant flow.

Blower motor works, but I am not getting hot air on the dash. Thoughts on what I am missing?

Heater core definitely gets warm, but I didn't leave it open long enough to get hot, I just was checking for leaks. But the hoses in and out of it both also get hot.

I can get some pics tomorrow if need be.

If your '83 is like my '85, then you have an air box with a blocking door. If you do then what likely happened is the cable that connects the "Hot-Cold" lever and the door together broke with the door in the "cold" position.
You can move the door around by hand. That is what I do.
