Got a question about heads
Got a question about heads
I am starting to slowly build the motor for my 88 Camaro. It will have a 400 turbo with shift kit.
The car is gonna be a fun street car that will go to the track. The car is lightend no back seat, no front bumper suports. the car has subframes and will have a stock rearend out of a 99 Camaro SS if It will fit.
The block I have acquired is 3970010 number...which i found out is a pretty good block.
the heads I have vortec with casting number 10239906. The cam I have is a 3434
11 48 99
119306
?90112
which it supose to be a lunati with 490 lift.
Bracket Master II; Camshaft; Hyd.Flat Tappet; RPM 1800-5800; Adv.Dur. 292 Int./Exh.; Valve Lift .490 Int./Exh.; Lobe Angle 110 Deg.;
. I have forged pistons .30 over i will bore out the block. Standard rods and crank which i may upgrade.
yall think this will be a good combo or do I need to find better heads.
