Ltx/LSx parts into gen1 block?

I found some free stock valve springs from an LS1 with ~50k miles on them, but they look like there are a couple small spots of surface rust. Will these fit my stock heads with 1.5 RR, and should I be concerned about the rust? How should I get rid of the rust?

Getting a 93 or 94 LT1 cam means I wont need to adjust the pin sticking out the end of the cam right?

How long are the stock pushrods? What factors/parts would change the length needed?

Would a set of barely used (~2k miles) chromoly push rods be worth the $40 price tag, and would it be worth replacing my 140k+mile pushrods for these?

Is $100 for these Crane lifters with only 2k miles on them a good deal? Based on the price in the link it seems like a good deal, but will a basic stock replacement be cheaper? Will stock lifters from an LTx or LSx motor fit my motor?

Will the rocker arms from an LTx/LSx fit my stock heads without modification?

What is the maximum lift my stock heads can handle? ~0.46

Re: Ltx/LSx parts into gen1 block?

this is my personal preference but anytime you go to replace valve springs dont buy used ones unless you can test the resistence pressure to make sure they are all resisting the amount they are made to resist as for them being ls1 springs dont let that fool you i spent 60 bucks and bought new ls6 springs for my buddies car as a b-day gift so if i were you id just save up the money and wait cause depending on what pressure those springs are and what the ones you have in your car are it will probaly flatten your cam which if your replacing the cam you might as well buy new springs with the cam. As for buying a used cam if you do use new springs do not buy a cam with more than 5k miles due to increased risk of flattening your cam. also cant tell you anything about YOUR push rods cause i dont have your cars info but 2k miles on lifters is ok but what is reason for the guy selling them and is your motor or atleast the pushrods rollers? we need more info on your car and more info on the pieces your buying. but if the push-rods are 2k miles and are same length i dont see why you couldn't replace them but dont replace just parts of your head it will cause unnecessary wear to other parts resulting in failure.
