Okay so i sold my 1990 iroc because it completly died and had no money to rebuild it. So now I might buy a 1991 Rs =]

There is one problem with the car and when i go out to look at it i need to know what i should look fo r so i can tell what for sure the problem is. The guy says the auto trans sticks from 1st to 2nd in other word it has trouble shifting to 2nd but after 2nd gear it shifts up to third and fourth just fine..

So my question to you is what could this be and what should i check to make sure of it?

(My first thought was possible to much tranny fluid) but im not a complete car genius yet im only 17.. so i need help pleasee!!!!!!!!!! =]]

 

first the tv cable should be set properly. if thats ok it could be accumulator problem, servo, band, governor, etc...will have to look inside.
