exactly i hear the click and nothing happens at all just smoke.

Did you check to see If you got oil in that engine?
Some places will recommend an oil change after removing an intake manifold, in order to get rid of the crap that falls down into the engine!!
Maybe your mechanic was doing that, and then got distracted, and forgot to put the oil back in???

No i checked the oil and it is the right amount....i have a feeling with the compression of the motor that bolt that was stuck shot out somewhere but where could it of gone?

So let me get this straight,
When you try starting the car , you hear a loud click but the engine wont turn over . You got it started before but all you heard was a loud knocking when it was running then it shut off .
Please correct me wrong but it sounds like ya may have a locked up motor. Or perhaps a smoked starter . Does the smoke come out the passanger side of the motor ? Maybe when they did the gasket they didnt get all the crap out that may have fallen into the motor, causing the oil pickup screen to get blocked with the crap. Resulting in lack of oil distribution , locking the motor . Why do I think this you say ? Because I have been down that road .
Now hopefully I am wrong , but I would say stop BSing around , TOW (as in tow truck, NOT DRIVING THE CAR ANYMORE) the car to another shop and see what they say . The original shop can and will say that you knew there was a problem , but insisted on not getting it fixed right away , driving the car with the known problem , therefore they will think its your fault of the car becoming majorly damaged not thiers .
Now I am not on thier side , but I have worked in several shops and know how they think. They will try every way to cover thier behind.

First of all, let me say this....
I am in full agreement with you on this!!! Something is not right here, the engine was running fine, however it required a "simple" intake manifold gasket replacement, now it's a siezed motor!!!
Smoke coming out of the MAF, the dipstick tube, and the oil fill hole!! All this is not caused by the TPS, nor the dizzy being out a tooth, or so!!! As you can see in my last post, I asked about the oil level, lack of oil causes crap like this, also lack of coolant, and/or coolant in the wrong place, will cause spun bearings etc, and parts to fail!! I wonder if the oil pump didn't crap out, maybe that was causing the dizzy to give false spark timing, causing the crappy running, like the timing was out!!

It's time to tow the car to some place, to get a second opinion, or tow it home, and start tearing it apart, until you find out what your problem is!!

well the motor is officially seized im going to start tearing it apart now...yeah the car was running fine but when i got home and popped the hood and reved the motor cause i thought i heard something knocking as soon as i reved it a loud knocking started to come up so i shut it off immediately and when i went to start it it would turn super slow and as time went on it stopped turning just smoke would come out...so i guess its time for a new motor.

Was this a real mechanic that services cars for a living or is its someones sisters,brothers,cousin that does stuff on the side ? Either way I wouldnt just walk away from this and buy a new motor. How ever tried to fix your motor obvisously did something wrong and needs to be held accountable.

well the mechanic who did the work on my motor was fired the same day he returned my car...it was one of my moms friends who helped me out cause he owns the shop....all my money was returned and i just walked away from it and am just going to but another motor and just drop it in my car and start fresh...

yep it does suck..actually im just going to drop another 305 in it and just cam it and put some heads on it and see how it runs from there with the tpi set up i got.

That sucks man but I tell ya , the guy got fired the same day you got the car back ?! that seems a little shady . If I was you I would be jumping down the shop owners throat (family friend or not) because for all you know , that guy who did the work on your car knew he was going to get fired soon and he might have wanted to "go out with a bang" by screwing with cars .
They need to buy you a BRAND NEW , not a junk yard motor. You really need to get on thier *** about it too. Before it is too late .

actually he has been the mechanic there but the owner had asked him if he knew about tuned port and he said yes so he offered me to do the job...so i did...but as soon as i told him what was going on with my car he fired him as soon as i took it back to him...i cant really do nothing cause i got the car running good and i honestly dont know what happen to it...the motor just seized.
