Intake Vacuum Hose

Initially, where is it? I just bought an 89 Camaro RS 2.8l v6. I don't know much about car as it is. I'm trying to fix that. I have every 89 Camaro repair manual I could find on the way.

From what I've been reading, there is a good chance that I have a severe carbon build up problem. I bought c-foam to run through the carb to see if that will help with the problem.

I can't find the main intake vacuum hose that I am suppose to pour the c-foam into.

"Performing a Sea Foam Engine Treatment on a Fuel Injected Engine Begin by parking the vehicle in a well ventilated area. Locate a vacuum line that you are certain DISTRIBUTES EVENLY TO ALL CYLINDERS. On many vehicles the easiest option is taking the vacuum line from your brake booster PCV."

Re: Intake Vacuum Hose

It is fuel injected, on the rear of the intake, look for a large black vacuum line that runs to the break booster. It is a T fitting with a plug on the opposite side. Remove the cap, attach a long piece of vacuum line and put it in the can. Just bought an 88 with a v6 for my son's first car and did this to his. Smokes like heck but seems to help. I run Sea Foam in everything I own.
