Okay I have a 1992 Rs Camaro, 305 Tbi, it will start and run fine, until you put it in any gear, and then it stalls out, if i give it gas then put it in gear it is reluctant but it works, or if i come to a stop i have to put it in neutral or it will die, can anyone help me please I am supposed to be selling this car and I cant get a single good test drive out of it. I already replaced the fuel filter. The car sounds like it could have a miss, would this cause the problem, my truck had a miss but it never stalled like this one has.

 

Update:

The number 8 cylinder appears to be dead, I dont know if it is the plug, or if the wire is loose as I can not reach it because of all the smog control crap in the way, If you think this is the problem, or if you think its not, or if you have a way to reach that 8th plug please let me know I am heading back out now to play with it.

 

figured it out wires 6 and 8 were crossed and map sensor was bad

 

I am having this same exact problem right now.
