is it worth it?
found a 88 trans am on craigslist at a dealership. they want 5999 for it. i downloaded the carfax. according to that the car has been through 9 owners (not sure but it has new owner reported on it 9 times) been in a parking lot crash, failed emissions once and was painted after the crash. it looks clean inside and out but they only show the drivers side. you guys think its worth 6k heres the add http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ctd/1636310399.html

Very doubtful.
It would have to have a mighty nice engine, interior, and body with a faultless transmission and brand new tires for me to even give it a 2nd glance at that price.

Re: is it worth it?
thats what i was thinking. i bought my 87 for 1500 and well it needs a paintjob and interior work. and i since put a 2500 dollar rebuilt 350 in it. the exterior looks good and im not sure but if you look at the picks do those seats look like 4th gen seats? oh and thanks for the quick reply five7kid.
