cylinder head ?

I am building a 10:1 383 and was planning on using fast burn heads but alot of people recomended afr eliminator heads
combuston chamber: 65 cc
intake runner: 195 cc
exhaust runner: 64 cc
intake valve: 2.050
exhaust: 1.600
I will also be using a hsr intake and as of now i am unsure of what cam i will go with. can any one tell me if this is a better head? or if there is something more highly recomended?

Re: cylinder head ?

The AFR 195 eliminators basically outflow any head on the market for its price range (but they are a little pricier than the Fastburns). That includes heads with larger intake runners, but by using the smaller AFRs, you get to maintain higher flow velocity through the runners. have a look at their dyno tests for the 195s on a 383 (http://www.airflowresearch.com/chevy_dyno.php) you'd have a tough time matching that with the Fastburns.
