Head choices

Right now I'm running some 70's smog era 76 cc chamber heads. Lying around I have a set of 92 Camaro 350 TPI heads, 92 Camaro 305 TBI heads and a set of early 80's 305 HO heads (non-center bolt equivalent flowing "TPI" heads from previous research"

I have an intake to work with any of the heads and I was thinking that one of these would be better than the ones I have now. Engine is a 355 with a mildish cam (lost my receipts) and is about 8.8:1 compression. Just wondering if you think any of these are going to flow a bit more and if the bump in compression would be worthwhile.

Thanks

Re: Head choices
The 083 TPI heads are good and so are the 416s. Neither are great, but with a good combo can be good. I'd get larger valves put into the 416's and run those. The bump in compression from those should help a lot. Hopefully get you a lot c loser to 9.5:1 if it's really around 8.6:1 right now. But I dont know off the top of my head where it would really put you. You'll have to choose whether to go for slightly more airflow with the 083 heads or the compression bump with the 416s, and I personally would suggest the 416s. You can reuse your current intake and valve covers with the 416's too.
