Use narrow band to help tune?
I am going to be putting a 1406 Edelbrock on my 1985 305. It already has an oxygen sensor bung in the exhaust up near the manifold so I was thinking about getting an inexpensive gauge from Summit to measure fuel/air mixture. I have read on here that the wide-band is a much better way to go, but I don't feel like spending all that money on a basically stock application.
Is there any benefit to putting a guage on the narrow band O2 sensor to help me fine tune my carb, or should I just tune it by the manual and leave it at that?

NB is only calibrated to work close to stoich @ 14.7 , once you get away from that AFR the readings are useless as a tuning tool
