Comp 1318 roller rockers

Hi,
I bought few weeks ago from foum member set of comp 1318-16 roller rockers.Three rockers have damaged(one flat ridge side of roller tip, maybe hit to valve ????)
Do Summit or Jegs sell those rockers separately?I find only sets at thy web sites.

Re: Comp 1318 roller rockers

summit used to sell them individually

but I only found the singles in the ultra pro magnum
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-1618-1/

Like mentioned before, I would either call summit and ask them or call the manufacturer.

Re: Comp 1318 roller rockers

Comp has a repair service for rockers, and also sells replacement parts to do the repair yourself.

Re: Comp 1318 roller rockers

I mailed to Summit, they don't have separately 1318-1 rockers. They answer:"The replacement is a CCA-1618-1, Ultra Pro Magnum, which are in stock for $20.95 each. There would be no problem running two different rocker arms".
Havet got yet reply from comp cams.

Is welding no-no to rockers?Does it weaken it?
It would be quite easy to make new ridge to rocker.

Re: Comp 1318 roller rockers

I definately would not weld on it. They see a ton of abuse. CALL comp and talk to them, that will get you an answer quicker. If they cant do anything, then just get an ulta pro magnum to replace it. But im sure comp will help you out.

Re: Comp 1318 roller rockers

Got today three new rockers(pro magnum).Only minus was total cost of 3 rockers. After tax, shipping and etc. I paid 120$...And this was very cheap if compare to comp cams shipping fee which was ~120$ to three rockers when I asked.
When you bought good and cheap you propably bougth two separate items...
