doing a sbc build and about 2/3 the way done and figured id see if i spent my money wisely, so whats this worth? ill post how much ive spent after i get some feedback...

4 bolt main bored to 4.060, decked .020, all machine work done
reground stock crank
glass blasted and magnafluxed forged rods
keith black silv-o-lite pistons
arp main studs
arp rod bolts
vortec heads with all machine work done for the high lift springs, screw in studs, guide plates, and minor port n polish (bowl blend, unshrouded chamber, cleaned up runners, minor pocket porting)
comp .490/.490 230/236 cam n lifters
HEI 50,000 volt distributor
Weiland Stealth intake
650-750 carb, not sure yet
all name brand parts went into the rebuild, almost no bolts were reused, and everything that was needed to be replaced was, and everything was reconditioned

also got a turbo 400 that im including in my "overall budget" that ive spent

 

You might get $1500 on it if you have the receipts and it hasn't been used yet. Engines haven't been going for much recently, I have a 468 small block with a super ram on it and haven't been able to get rid of it for 1/4 of what I spent on it. If you do get $1500, consider yourself really lucky.

 

anyone else? also any guesses on how much power itll make?

 

Id say anywhere between 360-420 HP at the flywheel depending on your induction.
