Fuel Pump relay Help

Guys,
I just put my 350 carbed in. I pulled the whole harness, which obviously pulled the circuit for the fuel pump. I need to know how to wire up the pump through a switch? Does this sound right? Fuel pump relay to inside the car where there is a switch, then to the battery and obviously with a ground. Question. Where is the live fuel pump feed? Thanks!

summit sells a wiring kit with relay cheap, but if the facotry pump is pumping out more than 5 to 7 psi you will need a regulator...im running 383 carb with fuel tank sumped and a red holley fuel pump external no regulater needed pump around hundred dollars.....

Most wire the pump relay to come on with the ign switch so you don't have to remember to turn pump off when killing engine.
Just need to find a spare "hot ; key on" supply to control the relay which you have plenty of now computer gone
See circuit diagram in link below;
anything that is "Hot in run " will work to turn on pump relay

For pump operation wire ; Batt - fuse -relay - pump
For control ;Key on supply - relay - ground

As you removed everything in the engine bay ,you will have to find the tan fuel pump feed wire at the firewall connector and connect relay output to that

Re: Fuel Pump relay Help

i had just drop a carb engine in my car with no harness aswell. you should just find the power wire to the fuel pump it runns under driver side kick pannel trace it back to between the back seats should be 4 wires or so.then hook a 12 volt power to any of them and see when the fuel pump turns on. then i ran it off the (ecm) fuse spot in the fuse box so it has a steady ingintion switch power and a fuse. but i never figured out how to run the fuel gauge? can any one help with that kinda lost???
