Re: New Cam...Help...

Why don't you give these a try: SUM-174001 for valve springs, they support up to .490 lift.

NO! Instead, check these out:
http://www.competitionproducts.com/H...uctinfo/98111/
I've used them with the Z4 cam and 1.6/1.52 I/E rockers to 5500 rpm without issue. And they're far less money. Plus they don't come from China.

Jegs has a sale on their stamped steel roller rockers right now. Part # 555-20180 for $79.99.

Re: New Cam...Help...

you must not put roller lifters on that non-roller cam. you must use new lifters, and in this case, the American made lifters really are better than the Chinese imports. Spending a bit more here really is worth it.

Re: New Cam...Help...

stock rockers are fine. If you want to upgrade, do it after you've broken in the cam and lifters.

Re: New Cam...Help...

If you dont have a roller cam, use "Hydraulic Lifters", I assume you dont have a solid lifter cam.

Yes, for a 350 SBC.
