gunna have the HSR non-vortec and a LT4 hotcam,
just wondering what people think on these 2, did some poking around but never really found a direct battle between these specific ones. any input would be great thanks

No, the 200s aren't better for the HSR and the HOT cam with a 350. They're worse. You don't get great results at any rpm when you don't have everything working in the same rpm range.
It's about the combination, the whole team. Having a star player with a supporting cast of "special people" ( we used to call them retards ) will never net you a high score.

180 nice chioce for your combo
But these are popular if considering a bigger port.

Buy the cheapest ones and put in the $40 GMPP LT4 /ZZ4 springs instead of paying the extra $100 for identical heads with bigger springs

so hands down what would you guys put on with my setup
the Brodix IK180, Edelbrock RPMs or the TrickFlows?
the TFS definatly seem to flow higher but is it really a big difference?
how about quality of parts and workmanship on them?

Re: Edelbrock RMM Vs. Brodix IK180/IK200
notice how these days all heads are flowed at 28" of water. A 383 at 6500 rpm might get the 195cc-200cc heads flowing theequivalent of 28", but a 350 at 5500 sure won't.
Velocity means more than flow, and 180cc on a 350 will give better velocity than 195-200 on a 350.
With that cam, your shift point is 6200, and realistically your HP peak is around 5600, whichever heads you use. And 180s are more than large enough for that. Good 180s will support a 525 horse 400 to 6500 rpm.

Re: Edelbrock RMM Vs. Brodix IK180/IK200
now i had read somewhere on here something about the manifold to cyl head bolts
not lining up just there being 2 different angles they can come in.
took a look at my HSR and its much more angled then my stock( being almost compleatly flat)
