hey everyone i need to know where to face the distributor of my z28... i forgot the way to put it back in... does anyone have a installation step? i need to know wwhat way to face it

Installing it calls for a bit more than just which way if faces.
You need to have the #1 piston near TDC ON THE COMPRESSION STROKE, then the rotor tip needs to be pointed at the #1 cap terminal.
Then the oil pump drive rod has to be indexed with the distributor otherwise the distributor won't drop all the way flush with the intake manifold.
Hopefully someone has detailed step-by-step instructions they can post or point you to. If not, I'll have to type one up for you. It's not all that difficult but does call for a few steps.
Check Shoebox's site; he may have the instructions posted there.
