slight ticking

so i have hydraulic lifters and the ticking wasnt there before i changed my oil a few hundred miles ago. its only present when im going up hills or around 2000 rpms. the oil pressure is good and there is no exhaust leak i tightened all the header bolts and i still here it. added some resilone to the engine on the advice of an older gentleman and this seemed to help a bit. the last oil change i did i used full synthetic and the gentleman said i should have used regular oil and added a quart of zdp cause my engine is a flat tappet hydraulic cam. could the full syn be my problem?

Re: slight ticking

might just need a valve adjustment unless the oil you used is affecting lifter pump up
