question 1- Passenger side head bolts, starting with #17, (reverse to tightening order) I can't get a socket or basic wrench (5/8" if I remember off hand) will not fit into the spot close enough to get a good bite on the bolt head, what is the trick?

question 2: Driver side, the 4th "spark plug shield" I am guessing is the sheet metal that encloses around the exaust manifold, which covers the middle 2 manifold bolts, how do I remove it? I have split the top "tack welds" on the shield but, how do I split the shield welds on the bottom side?

Any help/tips are apreciated!
