For all you guys who are building your own motors out there, whats your shop cost to vat/ bore/hone your stuff?
My work consists of
Remove Cam Bearings/Freeze plugs
Vat Block
Bore .030 over and hone
Install Cam Bearings
Vat stock intake, valve covers, and oil pan, oil pump pickup and misc bolts and parts.
Press old pistons off rods, and install new pistons on rods
I'm paying 196 bucks.
Sound like a good deal?

Re: General Costs
Where is this place?!
I paid about $1,300 for that work, then assembled it myself at home. (They wanted $300 more to assemble).
