fuel pressure question

fuel pressure question

i have an 89 trans am GTA,350 TPI
i was just wondering what should my fuel pressure be,
before i crank up and run, mine is at 65 psi
haynes says 34 to 47 psi.
but i just want to make sure before i put the
runners and plenum on.

Normal TPI specs are something like 45psi with the vac line off ( same as key on , not started pressure ) / 39psi at idle with the vac line connected

when i put vacuum on it ,no change.
so i guess i amj needing a regulator,
right? btw engine is not running yet,
only vacuum was by mouth.

take the regulator and see if its diaphragm is ripped. if not then it should be fine.
