Eagle rotating assy questions??? Please Help!!!

I bought the following kit to build my 383 and now have some concerns about it, so please help me out.

I purchased their B13405L (1pc seal 383 externally balanced rotating assy) for the build that I'm doing.

The kit came with nice speedpro 2v flatop hypereutectic pistons (#H860cp30), pins, spiro locks, conn rods have cap screws (so clearance for the cam is not an issue), cast crank, ext balance harmonic dampner, looks like stock ext balance flexplate, clevite h rod and main bearings, and perfect circle moly rings. Like I said it appeares to be a good kit with good quality components, that's why I purchased it.

Has anyone on here used or researched about these balanced rotating assemblies that Eagle Rod sells? And since then I've come across some different forums talking about poor or hit or miss quality of their products, does anyone have any personal experience with any issues or complements with eagle products? Or know anyone who has? I'm looking for all opinions and any information on their products.

My kit to the naked eye looks very nice, but I still havn't mic'ed the crank yet to check for taper or spun it to check for runnout.

Thanks,

I bet a machineshop would tell you real quick whether or not it's safe to run as far as journal/rod tolerances go. You got a shop you trust?

my first 350 had an Eagle crank in it... The motor lasted all of about 30 minutes before the block developed a crack in a cylinder bore, but I always hated that I didnt reuse that crank. I had gotten a T56 and it was easier to go find a 1 pc RMS block.

But I always thought it was a nice piece, definitely a step up from the L98 crank I'm running now.

But they are made in china. I didnt know that at the time. So it's a crapshoot, but all companies put out bad parts from time to time.
