the car is sick it has everything your could possibly buy all brand new. the prob is the guy told me every once in a while just randomly the car will shut off but always starts right back up. he said its random and sometimes doesnt do it at all. its a 383 with first fuel intake and a fast self tuning comp. also its a 91 z28 please give me your advice as to what it could be before i go and buy it

 

well its probably fuel, but how is it dying is the question, if its just a random die and it fires right back up i dont see the issue, mine does that lol id give it a test drive, if you like it buy it! and dont forget to post pics so we can see this thing

 

There are quite a few things that can be causing this, but if that's all that you can find wrong with it, I say buy it.

Problems like that have a tendency to get worse over time, and the good news is that the worse they get, the easier they are to pinpoint. Good luck.

 

well yeah but if its just cutting out and its random then its random lol not a HUGE deal, but not a positive thing lol

 

ive actually bought a few cars over the years with " sometimes it shuts off".

one was a bad pigtail at the dist. A.05 cent crimp connector solved that one.

The other had a bad sock at the fuel pump pick up. it would run, suck closed. car would shut off. sock would open back up, and then it would run again for a little while. sock and f/p right at 100$


IMO, buy it. you can use that info to negotiate on the price. post up some pics
