YES FINALLY !!

Ok, Well I am purchasing a camaro for 10 benjarmins from some guy off craigslist, it has 179k on it and it was his DD until he joined the army and is getting deported... so now i will buy it off him he say it leaks a lil oil and he changes the oil every other 2months and he's been riding it for about 18,000 miles since he got it..

So.. is that a bad thing 4 me? I never owned a camaro, i sold my bmw 540i for 1k dollar because it was a lemon, the fuel pump/spark/plugs everything was dead and i had no time so i sold then and im buying this camaro from this guy tomorrow morning..

It's a v6 too, i love the 26mpg..

Re: YES FINALLY !!

Check the pan and see if its just a worn and pan that needs retorqing. You won't know until you look at it and find out where its leaking.

Post some pictures, I predict its gonna have some hidden rust but who knows.

Right in the middle of the front wheels, there should be the air dam, then you should see the crank pulley and its right behind that.

Also make sure you inspect it for rust, it might look like a good deal for $1000, but with heavy rust problems, its gonna end up being more, while you are under there, take a look at the floors.

Re: YES FINALLY !!

Maybe you should buy one of those ac units you were so keen on earlier in the other thread.

Also, how do you not know where the oil pan is?
