installing upper door hinge pin kit....how hard?

i bought this door pin kit for the UPPER door hinge, instructions say "air
chisel off the smaller head,remove the old pin, than push the new pin in and tighten to pull the pin in"
anyone else done this? sounds fairly easy but i'am not sure and once i
cut the pin i'am commited

I've done it. Its not hard just really akward. You have to find a way to support the door while you are doing the work. A jack works pretty good.

Air chisel would have been nice when I did mine... all I had was a 4" angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. Any larger and I wouldn't have been able to get all the way in there. Hardest part was driving out the pin once the head was cut off. Since my doors are manual everything, I just removed it completely to do the work. Took me about two hours to do the whole install for one door.

did you guys have any problems with the 2 hinges not aligning up with the holes on the pillar door jam? i bought the greasable ones from classic industries and they went together like butter but they fit like CRAP! one side is too far down to align with the top hole after the bottom hinge bolt is installed and the other side the top bolt hole is too far up after the bottom hinge bolt is installed? what gives? they just fitted perfectlty before i took them off
