Ok so I think I learned that theres 2 kinds of cams, a hydraulic camshaft and a solid camshaft (is that right?). I need to know which type came in the 69-79 350 blocks? because there's one where you tighten an extra 3/4 turn after zero lash and one where you get to zero lash but use a feeler gauge and loosen the nut. I need help please on which one i have

Either type of lifter can be used in any block. You'd have to know the original application, or what it was rebuild with.

No, I'm saying you have to know what type of lifters the engine was built with.
